I have these omes:

Creative TravelSound. They aren't terrible, but they aren't great 
either. The main problem is getting them loud enough without distorting 
the speech. They take four AA batteries and the battery life isn't bad 
(I have an adapter for them too).
Peter's sound like a better deal.
