launch of CTLDC

Dear RNLDers,

RNLD is very pleased to be a foundation member of the Consortium on
Training in Language Documentation and Conservation <http://www.ctldc.org>.

The consortium will be launched this week with parallel events by
Consortium co-convenors Margaret Florey and Carol Genetti in India and the
USA. Margaret will participate in the World Languages Meet and Chotro 4
(January 6-8), organised by CTLDC Planning Group member Ganesh Devy <
http://www.adivasiacademy.org.in/announcements.html>. Carol is co-organiser
of a CELP-SSILA Panel at LSA 2012 in Portland on "From Language
Documentation to Language Revitalization" (January 6).

CTLDC membership <http://www.ctldc.org/membership/membership.html> is now
open and we encourage you and/or your organisation to join and contribute
to this exciting new venture.
