Announcement: Linguistics in the Pub Tuesday 9th July 2013

Topic: Useful and interesting websites and apps about endangered languages

Some great websites and apps have been appearing in recent years. These
attractive, usable and useful sites provide small language communities and
linguists with access to all sorts of information and entertainment.

Here are some of the kinds of sites we might talk about

demonstrate your favourite app.

LIP is an occasional gathering of language activists and linguists in
Melbourne. All are welcome. Those in other parts of Australia and the
world who can't make it to the Melbourne LIPs are encouraged to
organise a local gathering to discuss this topic and support language
activities in your area.
