[RNLD] Special Internship at Mirima Language Centre

Dear RNLD list subscribers,

 

over the past few weeks Mirima Dawang Woorlab-gerring Language and Culture
Centre (MDWg) has been offering a range of engagement opportunities to which
we would like to add another one today (please see the attached announcement
for a Special Internship).

 

MDWg runs a vibrant language revitalisation program for the Miriwoong
language in the East Kimberley region (Western Australia/NT) and can provide
a hands-on experience for linguistics students and graduates interested in
language revitalisation and documentation. Currently, applications for the
following positions are still open:

 

*       Standard Internship: 10 weeks, beginning in April/May 2017 

*       Standard Internship: 10 weeks, beginning in October 2017 

*       Special Internship (this announcement): 12 months, beginning during
the second half of 2017 - please see attached

*       Project Linguist position: 12 months beginning on 1 July 2017
