Work unit: Lúrra Language and Culture Program

Location: Maningrida - Arnhem Region

Primary Objective:

1.        Negotiate and supervise the daily operations of the LPC and assist with system and school priorities.

2.        Under the direction of the Principal, ST1 Teacher Linguist and Lúrra Language Team, plan and implement an appropriate literature production schedule.

3.        Support the delivery of the school's Indigenous Language programs in classrooms by working closely with the staff and community, curriculum officers to develop curriculum materials and program implementation guidelines.

4.        Supervise and assist the LPC literacy worker.

5.        Ensure all publishing and computer equipment is properly operated and maintained.

6.        Under the direction of the Teacher Linguist, take responsibility for the financial arrangements of the LPC, including ordering supplies and assisting with submission writing.
