[RNLD] ELAN 5.4 on Mac OS Mojave

Anyone else have trouble running ELAN 5.4 on Mac OS Mojave (10.14.4) ? I
noticed this post on the TLA site:

which matches my problem exactly -- crashes on initialization. I've tried
older versions of ELAN with no success.

Thoughts?
