RST and contrastive analysis

Dear RST list and sysfling,

I am working on a PhD project on "Sentence boundary adjustments in
translation: Consequences on information distribution and discourse
structure" (based on a corpus of  Norwegian-German and German-Norwegian
translations) and I have started using RST to analyse possible changes in
discourse structure in cases where sentences are split in the translation.
I wonder if anyone is aware of other studies using RST in
language-contrastive research, translation evaluation and the like?

I'd be very grateful if you could send me some references if you know of
research that might be related to mine.
