Dear Sir/ Madam,

My name is Ms. Supamit Chanseawrassamee, and I am a doctoral student
studying Language, Literacy, and Culture at the University of Maryland,
Baltimore County (UMBC).  I am interested in conducting research in
bilingual children’s literacy development.

I have sent an e-mail to Dr. Carol Compton and she recommended me to send
an e-mail to ask you about finding studies of Thai-English bilingual
children/students.
