Subject: Fw:  Pre-Angkor Conference - clarification / Siksacakr

Some of you have written us to enquire whether the conference on Pre-Angkorean studies is open to the participation of anyone interested, irrespective of their involvement in the CKS archaeological program
sponsored by the Rockefeller Foundation.
We want to confirm that this conference is open TO ALL PARTICIPANTS, provided that their abstract, submitted on time, qualify them for speaking-time during the conference. We are sorry for the confusion the introductory text of our announcement may have caused you.

Une confusion dans notre texte annoncant la tenue d'une conférence qui fera état de la recherche contemporaine sur la période pré-angkorienne a pu faire croire que seuls étaient concernés les chercheurs associés au projet archéologique mené par le Centre d'Etudes Khmères et financé par la Fondation Rockefeller.
Nous tenons à préciser que cette conférence est ouverte à tous, et que tous les chercheurs souhaitant intervenir peuvent le faire, dans la mesure où un résumé de leur intervention nous parviendra avant la date limite, et qu'ils seront ensuite sélectionnés par le comité organisateur .

Nous nous excusons de ce malentendu.
