2007 Sino-Tibetan Conference
Hooray! You can now register for the upcoming 2007 Sino-Tibetan
conference, which will be in Harbin, China on 26-29 September. Full

40th International Conference on Sino-Tibetan Languages and Linguistics
The 40th International Conference on Sino-Tibetan Languages and
Linguistics (ICSTLL-40) will be held at Heilongjiang University in Harbin,
China, from September 26th to the 29th, 2007.
Location --
Harbin is the capital city of Heilongjiang Province in northeast China . A
beautiful city located on the SongHua River , Harbin is known as the
"Moscow of the East." It is a well-known summer resort for its pleasant
and cool climate in summer, and a skiing and skating paradise in winter.
ICSTLL-40 will be held under the clear sky and crisp air of the autumn
when the weather is pleasantly cool.
Heilongjiang University is a modernized comprehensive university with a
history of more than 60 years. Currently, there are more than 30
colleges/institutes with 73 specializations. The total enrollment of
full-time students comes to over 30,000. In 2001, Heilongjiang University
was appraised by the State Ministry of Education as one of the top
institutions in undergraduate education. Linguistics being one of the
strong programs on campus, the University has been a frequent host for
national and international linguistics conferences.

2007 . After July 1st , the ICSTLL-40 Organizing Committee will send out
