ANNOUNCEMENT

The Linguistic Society of the Philippines, Komisyon sa Wikang
Filipino, SIL Philippines, and the Department of Linguistics of
the University of the Philippines-Diliman are pleased to announce
that registration for the 1st Philippine Linguistic Institute (PLI) is now
open. Please visit www.lsphil.org to pre-enlist and get information
about how to pay and what courses to take.

  Please note that the 1st PLI begins on Monday, March 31 and ends on
Friday, 11 April 2008. The sessions will be held at the Palma Hall of
UP Diliman. The fee is Php 2,000 per two-week course.

  We look forward to meeting you at the PLI sessions.
