Call for Abstracts:
THE FOURTEENTH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON AUSTRONESIAN LINGUISTICS (14ICAL)
17-20 July 2018
Antananarivo, Madagascar

Submissions are invited for 20-minute talks (plus 10 minutes for discussion)
on any aspect of language or linguistics specifically related to Austronesian
languages.
Submissions are limited to one individual and one joint abstract per author.
Abstracts should be single-spaced, 12-point font and limited to two A4 (or US
Letter) pages with 2.5-cm (or 1-inch) margins on all sides (including data,
figures, and references). Authors’ names should not appear on the abstract
itself, but a title should be included. Abstracts and talks can be in English
or French.
Abstracts should be submitted as a pdf through EasyChair
<https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=14ical>.
If submission through EasyChair is not possible, please email your abstract to
David Gil (<mailto:gil at shh.mpg.de>gil at shh.mpg.de).
Deadline for submission for abstracts: 15 January 2018
Deadline for notification of acceptance: 15 February 2018

Theme- or area-related panels are also invited. Participants interested in
organizing a panel should email an abstract to David Gil (gil at shh.mpg.de
<mailto:gil at shh.mpg.de>) indicating the title of the proposed panel and
expected participation, preferably including abstracts.
Deadline for submission for panel proposals: 1 December 2017
Deadline for notification of acceptance: 20 December 2017
