I agree with Loren! :)

I think that the organizing committee tries not to schedule panels which
would be interesting to subfields at the same time, but it wouldn't hurt to
reemphasize this.

Also, I think that four papers at 20 minutes/+10 for discussion is way too
short. I find that even when I'm really interested and no matter who may be
speaking, my attention wanes after about the first hour...  Maybe we should
consider cutting down the number of papers given on any given panel.  Then
we might really learn something rather than falling asleep or daydreaming
about going out to jazz clubs.

Just a thought.
