There is a font set which will fulfill every dream and desire:

The ER Fonts!

Identical in Mac and Windoze incarnations.
Four different styles.
All major encodings supported (Mac, KOI8, 866, 1251).
Russian, Ukrainian, Belorussian, Serbian, Bulgarian and Macedonian.
Oh, and "E" is for "English", in case anyone still uses it.
