We have 23 students on a Carleton program in Moscow who arrived the week
the bombing began. The director reported this week that the program has
been going very well and there have been no major problems. The students
have been instructed not to travel in large groups, dress too much like
Americans, or speak English in public. (I think they have been telling
people they are Australian.) Things seem to have relaxed a bit since the
beginning of the program, so unless there is a major change, I would say
travel is not a problem.
