Why students do not study Russian anymore

Perhaps an effort should be made to normalize grading scales university
wide (if not nationally).  An "A" in Mathematics, Physics, Computer
Science, Ukrainian, Russian, etc require the same amount of work, and have
the same significance, as an "A" in Psychology, History, Sociology, or
Spanish.
