In Hungary local 'liba maj pastetom' = pate de foie gras [sorry
about the missing diacritics] is certainly a delicacy and an export
article. Not sure about now, but a few years ago the outsize livers were
available in the open air markets too. I think, on a smaller case true
also of Czech republic (at least I remember eating it as a child)
