Russian culture in the USA

Dear colleagues,
I will teach a section of "Inventing America" freshman seminar next
spring and I want to propose a course about Russians in America.
As a literature specialist, I want to concentrate on Russian
immigrant experience in the USA as reflected in literary texts
available in  English. Does anybody have any suggestion what primary
(or secondary) texts can be adopted for such course.
