PC specialist's help is needed

Thank you for your prompt answers. I would like to add:I have Windows95
AND Norton Commander.I deleted LEXICON in one step: said "delete  Lexicon"
ans NC deleted i.


there is nothing in the recycle bin in Windows (obviously!), but I haven't
tried through Norton.
My question: if I see that the chance to recover is "poor"
, what should I do.I am not sure that my lexicon files had backups because
lexicon worked within Windows.
