Cyrillic fonts on OS X

Hello,

I'm in the process of making the switch to OS X on my Mac, and I
haven't been able to get a clear answer about Cyrillic fonts.  Has
anyone already started using OS X and browsed the web in Cyrillic, or
installed fonts to use in a text editor?

Please respond off-line, and I will post a summary of the results.
