POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

The Department of Slavic Languages at Brown University invites 
applications for a one-year non-renewable appointment for Academic 
Year 2002-03.  Rank open.  Ph.D. and native or near-native fluency in 
Russian and English required.  Candidates should have primary 
interest in modern Russian literature and culture and ability to 
teach Russian language at all levels.  Previous teaching experience 
in an American college or university is desirable.  Please send 
letter of application, CV and 3 letters of recommendation to
