Accent Reduction for Native Speakers of Japanese Learning Russian

I was wondering if anyone in this community might have information to share
on the topic of accent reduction for native speakers of Japanese learning
Russian.  I'd appreciate either leads on literature that addresses this
topic (unfortunately, not in Japanese since that won't get me very far...)
or any experiences other teachers have had.  Please reply off list.
