SHUKSHIN - KALINA KRASNAIA!!

This week I received an edition of KALINA KRASNAIA
that I think Russian teachers will be interested in.
Unlike previous editions, this one is a stressed
reader and it includes the actual filmscript -- the
precise words that are used in the movie. This is
an excellent resource for 3rd- and 4th-year students
to aid them in viewing the video. Does anyone know
of a version of KALINA KRASNAIA with subtitles? The
book has a detailed commentary and an introduction explaining the religious and folkloric underpinnings of the story. (Yegor Prokudin and St. George, driving the cattle out into the fields on St. George's Day, St. George and the dragon etc. -- many things that had never dawned on me.)
