WLADYSLAW LEDNICKI HUMANITIES AWARD
for a distinguished publication in the humanities dealing with Polish themes

PIASA invites nominations for the 2003 Book Prize in the Humanities.  To be eligible for nomination, books must deal with Polish themes and be originally  published in English in 2001 or 2002  by American or Canadian citizens or residents.  PIASA Lednicki Book Prize carries an award of $1000 and will be presented  at a special  reception  in New York City on December 6, 2003.

or to the chair of the Lednicki Humanities Award
