I certainly agree that Pevear and Volkhonsky translations are generally
good, in many ways better than the existing ones; the translation of BK
is superb!

Dear Alla (and others),

I've been consistently impressed with the work of Richard Pevear and
Larissa Volokhonsky.  I haven't read their translation of Brothers K,
but their translation of "Notes from Underground was quite good, and
their "Master and Margarita" is exceptional.  Both are available from
amazon, B&N, etc. for very reasonable prices.
