The AWSS Heldt Translation Prize Committee has decided to extend the
deadline for nominations for the Best Translation in Slavic/East
Europeam/Eurasian women's studies to JULY 15. Members are encouraged
to nominate an English language translation, scholarly or literary,
that was published between May 31 2001 and May 31 2002. Nominated
books can be sent directly to each committee member, or the committee
chair can contact translators and/or publishers of nominated works.
