Lecturer in Russian Studies (Fixed-term)

The successful candidate will teach modules in Russian language and literature for the Autumn Semester, 2004-5 [20 September 2004 to 21 January 2005] to replace Dr Cynthia Marsh, who will be on leave.  Candidates must have an excellent command of the written and spoken language and a BA or equivalent in Russian.  They must have experience of the UK Higher Education system, either as students or as a lecturer.  Preference will be given to candidates who have, or have nearly completed, a PhD in Russian.  Training and/or experience in teaching will be an advantage.

Salary will be £22,954 per annum.  This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract for a period of four months.
