Which Russian visa applies to students?

Dear SEELANGStsy,

I have a student applying for a semester study abroad in Russia who is
struggling with the visa forms. Can anyone tell me which visa is appropriate
for semester-long academic study (=@4 months) ‹ tourist, homestay, or
business?

BTW, her invitation was issued by a university.
