Havel and Belarus

Hi!

It's not really Slavic linguistic news, but I thought it's worth
mentioning because it might be interesting for some of the SEELANGS
partcipants:

Vaclav Havel wrote an article about Belarus called "Belarus - our new
neighbor" that was published in many influential newspapers. First of
all, in "Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung" (19.03.2004), in the Czech
press and in the Belarusian newspaper "Nasza Niva". I have the German
text from "FAZ", if you are interested, I can forward it to you, just
reply off-list.
