Call for papers for the 2004 AATSEEL-Wisconsin Conference

Abstracts for twenty-minute papers on any aspect of Slavic literatures 
and cultures (including film) and on issues in the learning and 
teaching of Slavic languages and literatures are invited for the annual 
conference of the Wisconsin chapter of AATSEEL (the American 
Association of Teachers of Slavic and East European Languages).  Papers 
that cross disciplininary boundarie, take creative risks, and draw on 
contemporary critical theory are especially welcome.  The conference 
will be held at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, on Saturday, 16 
October 2004.

Abstracts are due  21 August, 2004.  They can be sent by U.S. Mail, 
fax, or e-mail (no attachments, please). Guidelines for preparing 
abstracts are posted on the AATSEEL-Wisconsin website:
