Subject: [Slav-mss-list] Unicode Glagoliticr
Dear colleagues,
I am delighted to announce that with the publication of
version 4.1.0 of the Unicode Standard on 31st March, the
characters of the glagolitic alphabet are now included in
Unicode as the block U+2C00-2C5F. In addition, the
suspension mark is encoded at U+1DC3, and there are
some useful additions to the general punctuation block,
U+2000-206F.
Full details are at
http://www.unicode.org/versions/Unicode4.1.0/
To celebrate the occasion, I have prepared a new edition of
the Budapest Glagolitic Fragments, fully Unicode-
compliant. This can be found (in both XML and HTML
versions) at
http://userweb.port.ac.uk/~cleminsr/introd.html
I hope it will be the first of many electronic publications of
glagolitic text.
