Matveyev's Words and Images Project

SEELangers,

I am writing to announce the completion of an online project created by
the late Rebecca Matveyev, Associate Professor of Russian, and Gretchen
Revie, Reference Librarian/Assistant Professor, of Lawrence University.
  The project puts vocabulary into a cultural context, so that beginning
language students have a better understanding of concepts behind new
words.  It received funds and support from the Midwest Instructional
Technology Center and the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.  You can view

For those of you who knew Rebecca, it demonstrates her desire to
immerse students in the language and culture she loved so much.  We
