Abusive Treatment of Graduate Students

What I find most suspicious is that there is no specific description of
what the author means by "abuse". If this were a genuine complaint, the
complainant would be specific to establish credibility. To put it another
way, police will hesitate to follow up on a report of an alleged crime if
the person who is making the report does not provide specific detailas as
to what happened, or evidence of it (e.g.: photographs of injuries, etc.).
