Problems Switching between Russian and English Fonts in Windows X P

It happened with me too, and I think that I found the source of the
problem, at least in my case. It was the memory. I have plenty of RAM,
however, the problem was that there were too many processes running at the
same time including files being swapped automatically by Windows XP
without any control from the user/administrator. The solution: close all
the applications that you do not need running (many of them might be open
at the start up without your knowledge). Do not open too many documents at
the same time. Kill all unnecessary tasks with the Ctrl-Alt-Del combination.
