University of Michigan Summer Language Institute

 

May 1-June 22, 2007

1st Year Intensive Polish

1st Year Intensive Russian

3rd Year Intensive Russian: Cinema for Russian Conversation

 

June 27-August 17, 2007

2nd Year Intensive Russian

 

All of these courses are designed to develop the four basic skills:
speaking, reading, writing, and aural comprehension. The languages are
taught within cultural and social contexts. 

 

Extracurricular programs include lectures, films, local excursions, and
orientation to U-M libraries. Registered students receive credit upon
successful completion of the course. Not-for-credit option is available
at Program Fee rates attractive to out-of-state students.
