According to the recently published "Korespondencja" of Aleksander Wat
(Warszawa 2005, vol. I, p. 5) , "Pale Paryz" was translated into Yiddish by
Szymon L. Sznajderman (Shneiderman), whose adress in November 1946 was: New
York, N. Y., 315 Wets, 98 Street. He was at that time apparently a
journalist working for the "Jewish Journal and Daily News".
