AAASS: Political and Linguistic Borders in Slavic


We are looking for one presenter, a discussant and a chair for a panel at the
2008 AAASS convention on political and linguistic borders in the Slavic world.
Papers dealing with the impact of political borders on dialect-standard
convergence and/or divergence, language planning and policy, language
attitudes/ideologies and perceptual dialectology would be welcome.
      If you are interested in participating in the panel as a presenter,
discussant or chair, please send a short CV (and title, for papers)
as soon as possible to Aida Vidan (vidan at fas.harvard.edu) and Curt Woolhiser
(cwoolhis at fas.harvard.edu).
