We are currently in need of a chair for the AAASS panel: "Labored Identities: Gender, Communism, Cinema."
The panel consists of the following papers:
- Gender, identity, and social change in Room's "Bed and Sofa"
- Podniek's "Soviets" and gender in glasnost era
- The Heroine of the Market: The Prostitute as Entrepreneur in "Tochka"
