Google Books

Just anecdotally, I am fairly certain I buy more books now that I can browse
their content at any hour of the day. Could Google be doing the book market
(and especially authors who have yet to make it to Oprah) more good than
harm by making our work available to those who search for similar content?
At the very least it seems worth reserving judgment at this point.
