Translation certificate online?

Dear SEELANGERS, 

An old classmate of mine wants to get into translation on the side in her community.  She wants to brush up on her Russian and ideally obtain some sort of translation certificate.  She's wondering if there are online programs for translation and if so, how worthwhile/reputable they are.  

Any recommendations?
