The Program in Russian and East European Languages and Literatures and
Study Abroad of Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, announce a
summer study abroad program in St. Petersburg. The six week program,
starting on May 27 and ending on July 10, 2011, will consist of
intensive 6 credit language courses (taught by the faculty of Center of
International Programs of St. Petersburg State University) and a 3
credit course *"The Leningrad Blockade"* (co-taught in English by
Rutgers faculty from the Russian Program and Department of History).
Undergraduate and graduate students with no knowledge of Russian are
eligible to apply, although some knowledge of Russian is preferred. All
New Jersey residents, regardless of college affiliation are eligible for
in-state tuition.Because of visa considerations, the deadline for
