University of Chicago Reception at ASEEES Convention

On behalf of my colleagues at the University of Chicago:

For those of you attending the annual convention of the Association for 
Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Studies (ASEEES) next week in 
Washington, DC, please note that there will be a reception for 
University of Chicago alumni, faculty, students, and friends on the 
evening of Friday, November 18th, starting at 7:30 p.m. in the Embassy 
Room. It is a great way to reconnect with colleagues and friends and to 
meet new faces. Of special note: as many of you know, Sheila Fitzpatrick 
will be retiring at the end of this academic year and moving back to 
Australia. This is a great opportunity to stop by and wish her well in 
this new chapter of her life.
