Dear Robert
I recently came across a brief reference to a paper on Shalamov's
poetry given by Josie von Zitzewitz at the 2012 BASEES conference: see
http://sarahjyoung.com/site/2012/04/02/basees-2012-highlights/ for (a
few) more details.
I apologise for the sparcity of this information, but hope it is of some help.
Best wishes
Ian
