Russian detective fiction

Dear Collective Wisdom,

I would like to find out more about the history of Russian detective
fiction, particularly the work of Aleksandr Lavrov (pseudonym of A. I.
Krasnitskii; 1866-1917).  Can anyone recommend anything on the subject?
