Russian texts with parallel English translation?

One text that might serve your purpose is "Davai: The Russians and Their
Vodka," which has been translated from Dutch into English, but consists
largely of excerpts from Russian literature in both the original and
English translation. The translations are by a variety of translators
(including--full disclosure--yours truly) and from a variety of eras. The
book is highly entertaining and informative.
