Leafing through a library copy of the Polish Romantic Drama (ed. by Harold B. Segel, Harwood Academic Publishers, Amsterdam 1997) I've come across, on page 76, a dead mosquito - opposite the words "Like the poor insect" (Mickiewicz, Forefather's Eve, The Improvisation).

Just wanted to share.
