Suggestions for a Course on Leadership

As far as women in leadership roles are concerned, Olga Shapir's short story, "The Settlement" might be useful. I recently taught it in a Freshman Writing course and many of the students found the character of Dunyasha, who takes on the responsibilities of the head of the household, very compelling.
