Suggestions for a Course on Leadership

Why is it that the first suggestions that come to mind are ironic? (Cf.
Olesha, *Envy.*) A more positive suggestion: *Captain's Daughter* provides
several alternative images of leadership (Pugachev, the Captain, Catherine).
