Tickling spirits

FR,
Is the tickling demon associated with Old Belief? Heretz writes (of old believers) "[for Avvakum] lack of control over the body is tied to general spiritual failure; the "Nikonians" being mired in corporeality is what allowed to the Devil to make use of them."

Could it be that tickling was associated with lacking self control?
