Siouan place names out of place?

The discussion about Indiana inspires me to ask you all about a place I
drove through last week in northern Oklahoma -- Watonga.  It's
Cheyenne-Arapahoe country (after it became Indian territory, of course),
but it sure looks to me like it should be from a Dhegiha language and mean
something like 'big stuff'.
